Dr John Perry is a Senior Lecturer in Theological Ethics at the School of Divinity, University of St Andrews. His research focuses on theological ethics (evangelical, Anglican, Catholic), philosophical ethics (Locke, Hume, Mill, Singer), and applied ethics (medical, sexual, political). He leads projects funded by the John Templeton Foundation, including initiatives exploring neurodiversity, science-engaged theology, and theological anthropology. Perry has supervised multiple PhD students and contributed to peer review and editorial roles for journals like Modern Theology.
