John Paul Wright is an Associate Professor in the Division of Criminal Justice at the University of Cincinnati. He is the first graduate of UC’s Criminal Justice Program and has been a faculty member there since 2000, serving as Graduate Director since 2007. His research integrates behavioral genetics, psychology, and biology to explore the biosocial underpinnings of criminal behavior, self-control, and juvenile delinquency. He has published over 200 articles and co-edited influential works like Criminals in the Making and Crimes of Privilege.
