Professor John Parkinson OBE is a Professor at Sheffield Hallam University with expertise in counter terrorism and security studies. A former UK Chief of Police, he led counter terrorism operations including the 7/7 London Bombings investigation.
His research focuses on counter terrorism strategies, intelligence analysis, and organized crime. He chairs the CENTRIC Advisory Board and serves as visiting Professor at the University of Huddersfield.
