John Page

John Page serves as Senior Lecturer in Music and Director of Orchestral Activities at Tufts University. A professional conductor and recording artist, he oversees the Tufts Symphony Orchestra and Tufts Youth Philharmonic while teaching chamber music and orchestral performance.

His career includes positions as Resident Conductor at New England Conservatory, Music Director of Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, and Artistic Director of PARMA Orchestra. He conducted the Celtic Woman Symphony Tour across major U.S. orchestras and recorded extensively with Irish Film Orchestra, earning platinum discs for Celtic Woman collaborations.

Page studied at King's College London (BM), University College Dublin (MA), Trinity College Dublin, and Harvard University. Honors include Irish Times Opera of the Year award for Viktor Ullmann's The Emperor of Atlantis and work with Benjamin Zander on Grammy-nominated Philharmonia recordings.
