John Noel

John Noel is a Teaching Professor in Physics at Temple University's Department of Physics. He joined Temple in 2013 as the Physics Laboratory Coordinator, focusing on undergraduate teaching laboratories and biomedical science research. Noel holds a B.S. and Ph.D. in Physics/Applied Physics from Texas A&M University, with postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Medicine. His research spans medical devices, physics education, and bioimaging, emphasizing novel hardware and imaging techniques for biological systems. He collaborates with Temple's School of Medicine and leads outreach initiatives in North Philadelphia schools.
