John Moran

John Moran is an Associate Professor of Health Policy and Administration at the College of Health and Human Development, Pennsylvania State University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Penn State, following his M.A. and B.A. in Economics from The Pennsylvania State University and Ursinus College, respectively. His research focuses on health economics, public health policy, and the intersection of healthcare with labor markets and public expenditures. He is also a member of the Graduate Faculty, supervising graduate students in related fields.

His work explores topics such as the economic impacts of opioid misuse, alcohol taxation policies, and the effects of cancer survivorship on labor market outcomes.
