John McLaughlin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Western Washington University (WWU), located in ES434 (MS9181). His teaching focuses on ecology, natural history, biostatistics, and wildlife ecology. Research interests include carnivore-habitat dynamics, population biology, and conservation strategies for mammals, birds, reptiles, and invertebrates. Prior roles include Adjunct Assistant Professor at Utah State University and Director of Research at the Teton Science School in Grand Teton National Park.
