John M. Hellmann is a Professor at The Ohio State University's Lima campus, affiliated with the Department of English. His research focuses on 20th-century British and American literature, film studies, and cultural analysis of historical events like the Vietnam War and the JFK legacy. He holds a PhD from Kent State University.
Key works include The Kennedy Obsession (1997), American Myth and the Legacy of Vietnam (1986), and Fables of Fact (1981).
