Dr. John Liddicoat is a Senior Lecturer at King's College London's Dickson Poon School of Law and an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Tasmania. His Orcid identifier is 0000-0001-7370-3936. He holds dual expertise in law and genetics, with a focus on patent law’s role in technological innovation. He advises governments, international bodies (e.g., World Intellectual Property Organization), and pharmaceutical companies on intellectual property strategies.
Education includes a dual honors degree in Genetics and Law from the University of Melbourne (2009), followed by research roles at the Centre of Law and Genetics. His 2012 PhD thesis at UTAS analyzed patent infringement law using economic and comparative legal frameworks.
