John Licciardone is a Regents Professor at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine (University of North Texas Health Science Center), holding the Richards-Cohen Distinguished Chair in Clinical Research. He directs the Osteopathic Research Center and the PRECISION Pain Research Registry, focusing on precision medicine and biopsychosocial approaches to pain management. His work emphasizes osteopathic manipulation, opioid prescribing optimization, and chronic pain prevention. He has led major NIH-funded trials, including the OSTEOPATHIC Trial and the PACBAC Trial.
