Dr. Gary Fryer is an Associate Professor and Course Chair of the HCOP Osteopathy double degree at Victoria University's College of Sport, Health & Engineering in Melbourne, Australia. He has been teaching osteopathic principles, technique, and research methods at Victoria University since 1997 and currently holds the position of Associate Professor, which he has maintained since 2011.

Dr. Fryer's research interests span multiple areas within osteopathy and manual therapy. He has been a strong advocate for evidence-informed approaches to teaching and practicing osteopathy. His work focuses on the reliability of palpation, the biomechanical effects of spinal manipulation, neurophysiological mechanisms of manipulative treatment, and the application of evidence-based practice in osteopathic care.
