John Lewin

John Lewin, MD, is an Associate Professor of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine and serves as Division Chief of Breast Imaging. He specializes in breast cancer radiotherapy and breast imaging, focusing on improving screening and diagnostic techniques. Dr. Lewin completed his MD at Harvard Medical School (1990), an MS in Electrical Engineering at University of Rochester (1986), and an AB in Physics at Harvard University (1982). His research includes pioneering the first clinical trial of digital mammography and demonstrating dual-energy contrast-enhanced mammography.
