John Lacy is a Professor of Practice and Director of the Global Mining Law Center at the University of Arizona’s Rogers College of Law. He holds a J.D. (1967) and B.A. (1964) from the University of Arizona. His career spans legal practice, academia, and military service. He has been affiliated with the Department of Mining and Geological Engineering (1976–1986) and has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Rogers College of Law since 1986.
