Dr. John Holman is a Professor in the Department of Agronomy at Kansas State University and serves as the Cropping Systems and Forage Agronomist in western Kansas. He is affiliated with the SW Research and Extension Center located in Garden City, KS. His research focuses on enhancing agricultural sustainability and profitability through integrated crop-livestock systems, dryland crop production, cover crops, and optimizing water use efficiency.
Education:
- Bachelor’s in Agronomy and Agriculture Business from Montana State University
- Master’s in Weed Science from Montana State University
- PhD in Plant Science from the University of Idaho
