John G. Riley is a Professor of Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). A New Zealand native, he earned his Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research focuses on foundational topics in modern information economics, including auctions, signaling, price discrimination, and contests.
