John Friesen

Dr. John Friesen serves as Professor and Chair of Remote Sensing at the Department of Remote Sensing within the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Würzburg. His work bridges geography, engineering, and public health through advanced spatial analysis techniques. Current affiliations include leadership in the Earth Observation Research Cluster and co-direction of the EO4CAM project since 2024.
