John Erwin

John Erwin is a Professor & Chair in the Department of Plant Science & Landscape Architecture at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research focuses on enhancing crop resilience to high temperatures, reducing chemical/energy inputs, and optimizing controlled environment crop production. He holds a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from Delaware Valley College (1983), M.S. (1986) and Ph.D. (1989) in Horticulture from Michigan State University.
