John Dewell

John Dewell is an Assistant Professor and Department Chair at the College of Nursing and Health Counseling, Loyola University New Orleans. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University New Orleans, a Master’s and Ed.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from James Madison University, and a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from The College of William & Mary. He is a nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Prior to his current role, he served as a Counselor Educator at the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
