John Collins

John Collins is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of East Anglia, where he is the Head of the School of Philosophy within the School of Politics, Philosophy and Area Studies.

His research interests include the philosophy of language, the philosophy of linguistics, the concept of truth, the philosophy of science, and the philosophy of cognitive science.

His recent publications cover topics such as polysemy and roots, world and truth in conflict, the status of indefinites, and the disunity of personal taste.
