His publications reveal a scholar who bridges theoretical and applied philosophy, connecting foundational questions to contemporary debates.
Dr. Collins' scholarly output shows consistent engagement with major philosophical questions across multiple domains:
- Philosophy of Religion: His work on the Evil-God Challenge has generated significant discussion in contemporary philosophy of religion
- Philosophy of Language: Contributions to semantic externalism, temporal externalism, and content externalism
- Philosophy of Law: Innovative analysis of originalism vs. evolutionism in legal interpretation
- Epistemology: Research on closure principles, logical error, and self-knowledge
His teaching portfolio mirrors this research diversity, covering philosophy of religion, law, ethics, language, mind, modern and ancient philosophy, and even philosophy of sport. This breadth demonstrates his commitment to showing philosophy's relevance across multiple domains of human inquiry and experience.
