John C. Cavadini is a Professor of Theology at the University of Notre Dame, serving as Chair of the Department of Theology from 1997–2010 and Director of the McGrath Institute for Church Life since 2000. He holds a Ph.D. from Yale University (1988) and has authored or edited numerous books and articles on patristic theology, Augustine, and early medieval Christian thought.
