John Bucuvalas, MD is a Professor of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, serving as Chief of the Division of Hepatology and Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs. He is also Director of Solid Organ Transplant Outreach at the Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute (RMTI) and part of the Metabolic Genetics Group. His clinical focus includes transplant hepatology, acute/chronic liver disease, and pediatric liver transplantation. He holds certifications in pediatric gastroenterology and transplant hepatology.
