John Berg

John Berg serves as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Movement, Culture and Society at The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH), specializing in sport as a social phenomenon through historical and contemporary lenses including gender, professionalization, and cultural heritage.

He holds a PhD in History and History Didactics awarded in 2022 for his dissertation analyzing how Swedish sports museums portray sports history through class, gender, nation, and generational perspectives.
