Dr. John Arman is a Full Professor at Regis University, affiliated with the Department of Counseling within the School of Mental and Behavioral Health (SMBH), part of the Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions (RHCHP). He holds additional titles as an Ignatian Scholar and Ignatian Faculty Fellow. His career spans roles including Coordinator of the School Counselor program at the University of Colorado-Denver (1998-2002), work at Heidelberg University (2003-2005), and his current position at Regis since 2005.
Dr. Arman specializes in adolescent counseling, counseling education, and innovative pedagogical methods such as Flipped Learning. He serves as Internship Coordinator for the Counseling Program, teaches courses including MCPY 677 (Counseling Pre-adolescents and Adolescents), and leads the Certificate in Counseling Children and Adolescents (CCA) program. His academic contributions focus on refining educational delivery models and mentoring future counselors.
