John Andrew Bergendahl is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), affiliated with the Civil, Environmental, & Architectural Engineering school. He directs the Environmental Engineering Program and holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, with postdoctoral research at the University of Texas at Austin. His expertise spans sustainable engineering design, advanced water treatment technologies, and pollution prevention.
