Dr. John Aloysius holds the Oren Harris Chair in Logistics as a Professor in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the University of Arkansas' Walton College of Business. He serves on critical university committees including the Institutional Review Board and Research Council, and has previously led the POMS College of Behavioral Operations as president.

Research Focus spans behavioral operations and retail technology, with publications in top-tier journals like Journal of Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and MIS Quarterly. His work examines how human behavior and technological innovations intersect in supply chain management.
Key Research Trends include: AI-human collaboration in demand planning, blockchain adoption in supply chains, inventory decision-making under uncertainty, and sustainability communication frameworks. His recent work (2025) explores DE&I integration in operations and behavioral responses to AI-based forecasting systems.
