Johannes van der Horst

Johannes van der Horst is an Associate Professor at the Department of Critical Care and an intensivist/cardiologist at Maastricht University. He leads the Simple Intensive Care Studies (SICS) and Simple Observational Critical Care Study (SOCCS) registries, focusing on diagnostic and prognostic value of physical/physiological exams in acute care. He chairs the residency training program and serves on the board of the Dutch Society of Intensive Care (NVIC).
