Johannes Buchholz (born 1961) is an artistic researcher and educator at the Institute for Art and Art History at the University of Duisburg-Essen since 2011. He studied Fine Arts at the Berlin University of the Arts and holds degrees in Art History and Philosophy from Bochum, Berlin, Freiburg, and Madrid. His work bridges artistic practice and pedagogy, focusing on spatial drawing, sound-art interfaces, and non-representational visual education.
