Johanne Turbide is a Full Professor in the Department of Accounting at HEC Montréal, specializing in accounting management for cultural organizations and behavioral aspects of management accounting. She holds a Ph.D. (Industrial and Business Studies) from the University of Warwick and an M.Sc. in Management Sciences from HEC Montréal. She is a member of the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec since 1987.
- Roles: Secretary General, Head of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion; Director of Sustainable Development; Member of the Carmelle and Rémi Marcoux Chair in Arts Management.
- Teaching: Courses include 'Accounting Management for Artistic Enterprises' in the Arts Management program and professional corporation exam preparation.
Her research focuses on strategic and financial management of cultural and community organizations, including developing management tools for these sectors.
