معرفی
Johanna Stadmark is a Researcher at the Department of Geology, Lund University, Sweden. She is affiliated with BECC: Biodiversity and Ecosystem services in a Changing Climate, focusing on biogeochemical processes and human impacts on ecosystems. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to environmental sustainability.
Research Interests:
- Biogeochemical cycles (carbon, silicon, nitrogen, phosphorus)
- Eutrophication and acidification in aquatic systems (Baltic Sea, lakes, rivers)
- Greenhouse gas emissions from wetlands
- Forestry and aquaculture effects on ecosystems
- Gender equality in academia
Recent Publications highlight trends in environmental biogeochemistry, climate change impacts on water quality, sustainable mariculture governance, and silicon cycling in Holocene lake systems. She contributes to circular bioeconomy research through life cycle assessments of nutrient management.
Affiliations & Projects:
- ClimBEco steering committee member (2022–2025)
- Active in Research Infrastructures – Sustainability dimensions and critical perspectives (2025–2026)
- Supervised Diatom-rich sediment formation in lakes (2016–2021) and Si cycling during the Holocene (2015–2020)
- Formerly involved in the Baltic Consortium on Promoting Gender Equality in Marine Research (2016–2020)
Activities include organizing workshops, media participation on gender equality, and public seminars on biodiversity.
