Dr. Johanna Gerwin is a post-doctoral Researcher at the English Department, Kiel University, with prior affiliations as a Research Fellow in Sociolinguistics at Queen Mary University London (2021–2023). Her work bridges historical dialectology and modern sociolinguistic phenomena, focusing on enregisterment processes of working-class accents.
