Dr. Johann Fortwengel is a Reader in International Management and Head of Department for Strategy, International Management & Entrepreneurship at King's Business School, King's College London. He holds a secondary appointment as a Research Associate at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria. Previously, he served as Senior Lecturer (2019–2021) and Lecturer (2016–2019) at King's. He also held a Visiting Professorship at Northeastern University's D’Amore-McKim School of Business in 2023.
