Johann CLOUET is a Professor (PU-PH) at the University of Nantes, affiliated with the Department of Galenic Pharmacy and Biophysics. He holds an HDR (2017) and completed a research mobility at INSERM U1066 in Angers to specialize in nanomedicines. His research focuses on regenerative medicine of the intervertebral disc, biocompatibility of biomaterials, and medico-economic analysis of medical devices, coordinated through projects like REMEDIV, H2020 IPSpine, and ANR-funded initiatives. He leads the Regenerative Medicine and Skeleton (RMeS) laboratory (INSERM UMRS1229).
Educationally, he coordinates the DES in Hospital Pharmacy, Master’s programs in Biomaterials and Medical Devices, and practical training in Galenic Pharmacy. He also edits the Pharmaceutical Review of Medical Devices for the French Pharmaceutical Society of Medical Devices.
Key academic roles include coordinating national and regional projects (e.g., BIO2, STIMUDISC, NEMESIS) and overseeing educational programs such as the Master Doctorate Course (CDM) in Medicine 4R under the SFRI TRITON initiative.
