Johan van de Koppel

Prof. Johan van de Koppel is an Honorary Professor at the University of Groningen's Faculty of Science and Engineering and a Senior Scientist at the NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research. His research focuses on spatial ecology of intertidal systems, particularly self-organized patterns in marine ecosystems like mussel beds and salt marshes.
