Johan Pries is an Associate Senior Lecturer at the Department of Human Geography, Lund University, with a career spanning political geography, spatial planning, and the cultural heritage of popular movements. His work critically examines the interplay between historical processes and the physical landscape, focusing on neoliberal urbanism, welfare landscapes, and the preservation of postwar architecture.
