Johan Hegardt is a Researcher at Södertörn University, focusing on archaeology, heritage, and museum studies. He holds a PhD from Uppsala University, where he studied archaeological thought history and served as lecturer. His current research projects examine identity formation in post-1989 Baltic Sea memory culture, funded by the Foundation for Baltic and East European Studies. Hegardt collaborates with cultural institutions like Örebro County Museum and investigates theoretical frameworks in archaeology.
