Joey Rodriguez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Michigan State University. His research focuses on exoplanets and stellar physics, particularly through his involvement with NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission and the KELT South project.

- Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics and Psychology from Rutgers University (2010)
He has participated in the Future Faculty Leaders Postdoc Program at Vanderbilt University and contributed to exoplanet research at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
