Joerg Gsponer

Joerg Gsponer is a Professor and Head of the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Medicine. He directs the Gsponer Lab at the Centre for High-Throughput Biology (CHiBi), focusing on intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs), protein interaction networks, and their implications in neurodegeneration and cancer. His lab develops computational tools like GraPES, LIST, and IDRBind to study biomolecular condensates and protein interactions.
