Joelle DAndres

Dr. Joelle DAndres is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Geochemistry department at the Research School of Earth Sciences, The Australian National University. Her research focuses on understanding Earth's early chemical evolution through geochemical analysis of ancient rocks and reference materials.

Education: PhD from ANU (2018) and MA from ETH Zurich (ETHZ).

Research Interests:

• Serpentinite geochemistry and its implications for early Earth processes
• Halogens as tracers in geological systems
• Development of reference materials for geochemical calibration
• Proterozoic and Archean geological systems

Research Contributions: Her work integrates field studies with advanced analytical techniques, particularly in Greenland's Isua supracrustal belt and international reference material characterization.

Grants & Projects: Led a scoping study on garnet as a regional prospectivity tool (2022-2023).
