Joel Litman is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance at Emory Henry College's School of Business. He has taught or guest-lectured at prestigious institutions including Harvard Business School, University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Wharton, London Business School, and Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance. He also conducts seminars for global financial conferences like CFA and CPA chapters.
Professionally, Litman serves as President and CEO of Valens Research, a firm specializing in corporate performance and investment analytics, where he advises institutional investors on equities, corporate credit, and macroeconomic strategy. He chairs the UAFRS Advisory Council, driving adoption of Uniform Adjusted Financial Reporting Standards. Previously, he contributed to building Credit Suisse’s HOLT University and the Center for S.E.V. and MBA Concentration at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Commerce.
His educational background includes a B.S. in Accounting from DePaul University and an MBA/MM from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
