Joe Hopkinson

Dr Joe Hopkinson, Lecturer in History at the University of Huddersfield, specializes in race, education policy, and oral histories of marginalized communities. He completed his AHRC-funded PhD on racism in British schooling and oral histories of Black and Asian British schoolchildren, following his award-winning documentary Dispersing the Problem (2018 Royal Historical Society Prize winner). His research intersects with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in education equity.
