Joe Hardwick

Dr Joe Hardwick is a Lecturer at the School of Languages and Cultures, The University of Queensland, specializing in French cinema, existentialist literature, narrative theory, queer theory, and cultural studies. He teaches courses in French language, cinema, literature, and cultural studies.

• Research Focus: Mobility and marginality in French cinema, queer representation in cinematic love triangles, and the transition from secondary to university-level French education.
• Publications: Recent works analyze Alain Guiraudie's L'Inconnu du lac, Pascal Alex Vincent's Donne-moi la main, and transnational shifts in 21st-century French cinema.

Supervision: Available for PhD/MPhil supervision in areas related to French film and cultural studies.
