Joe Baine

Mr Joe Baine is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW Sydney. His research focuses on geometric modular representation theory and Kazhdan-Lusztig theory, with specific interests in reductive algebraic groups, quantum groups, Hecke algebras, Soergel bimodules, perverse sheaves on flag varieties, and diagrammatic categories. He completed his PhD in Pure Mathematics at the University of Sydney in June 2024.
