Jody Ralph is a Professor in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Windsor, specializing in nursing education, healthcare crisis management, and mental health support for healthcare workers. She has led several research initiatives addressing pandemic impacts on nurses, workplace stress, and cross-border healthcare challenges. Active in academic leadership, she co-organized the Great Lakes Biennial Nursing Conference (2024) and contributed to the development of simulation-based training modules for nursing students.
Her research focuses on improving clinical preparedness through innovative teaching methods, such as stress-management simulations, and advocating for systemic solutions to nurse retention during health crises. Ralph has collaborated on WE-Spark Health Institute-funded projects and participated in institutional decisions, including the adoption of the Brightspace LMS. She also engaged in faculty development through mid-career teaching retreats.
Ralph’s work emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, as seen in her partnerships with psychologists and researchers to address nurse burnout and crisis readiness. Her contributions span academic administration, clinical research, and community-focused health initiatives.
