Jody Lori

Jody Lori is a Professor at the University of Michigan School of Nursing and Director of the PAHO/WHO Collaborating Center. Her research focuses on designing and testing innovative care models to improve maternal and newborn health in low-resource regions globally.

Key areas include addressing preventable maternal/newborn deaths through health systems strengthening, cultural competency, and reproductive health policy reform. Her work employs a human rights framework to tackle systemic barriers in countries like Ghana, Guatemala, Ethiopia, Liberia, Mexico, and Zambia.
