Jodie Dakic is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy at Monash University, serving as Co-Director of Physiotherapy Programs and Women’s and Men’s Pelvic Health Stream Lead. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne, with a current PhD candidacy focused on pelvic floor disorders in exercising women.
Her clinical career spans 14+ years with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), including roles as Director of Athlete Medical Services and Research Consultant. She has also contributed to Tennis Australia and various sports teams, specializing in elite female athletes’ health. Her research focuses on pelvic floor disorders in female athletes, injury prevention, and optimizing healthcare practices in sports.
