Jodie Barker is a Teaching Professor of French and French Section Head in the Department of World Languages and Literatures at the University of Nevada, Reno. She holds a Ph.D. in French with a certificate in women’s and gender studies from Rutgers University, an M.A. in romance languages and literatures from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a B.A. in French and women’s studies from Wayne State University.
