Jocelyn Rios

Jocelyn Rios is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC), within the College of Natural and Health Sciences. She specializes in equity-focused mathematics education, particularly addressing the needs of multilingual students and Hispanic-serving institutions (HSIs). Her work explores language, identity, and active learning strategies in post-secondary math classrooms. She co-organizes Cafecito con Matemática, a bilingual family math outreach program.
