Jocelyn Flores

Jocelyn Flores is a part-time faculty member at Baylor University and currently serves as a social worker at Chelsea High School. Her role involves crisis management, mental health coordination, and individual counseling for newly arrived immigrant students. Prof. Flores specializes in child welfare policy, with a focus on immigrant and refugee mental health, trauma-informed acculturation, and school adjustment strategies for immigrant youth. She has contributed to developing programs addressing online sexual exploitation of youth and has experience implementing therapeutic interventions like Problematic Sexual Behavior-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (PSB-CBT) and Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI).
