Joar Björk is a Research Fellow at the Prioritization Center within Linköping University's Faculty of Medicine, jointly affiliated with the Department of Society and Health and Department of Health, Medicine and Care. He holds dual specialization in internal medicine and palliative care, serving as clinical ethicist and leader of Region Kronoberg's medical ethics initiatives. Defended his doctoral thesis at Karolinska Institutet (2021) on patient responsibility in healthcare prioritization.
